About Us

Traction Equipment was established in Stafford in 1972 as an independent Tool Hire Company. Traction still retains its independence and serves the Stafford locality and surrounding county of Staffordshire.

Customer Service has always been the focus at Traction and remains so today with every employee dedicated to meeting or exceeding our customer’s expectations with a high standard of quality of service. In 1993 our quality of service was recognised by the British Standards Institute with accreditation to BS5750 Quality Assurance. Our commitment to quality of service over the years has meant that we are now accredited to ISO 9001:2008.

Our commitment to Environmental responsibility was recognised in 2011 with accreditation to ISO 14001:2004, while our ongoing commitment to both our staff and our customers meant that in 2007 we were recognised as an Investor in People.

Our growing portfolio of products now extends to a wide selection of construction plant including excavators, dumpers, rollers, access platforms and specialist ground sensitive multi terrain vehicles.

We feel our dedication to quality service coupled with an ever expanding range of new and innovative equipment offers a comprehensive commercial offering and we look forward to discussing your requirements in greater detail.
